Hi all,
For those using the above combination, what settings are you using on the OD?
I use mine always on, with the aim of tightening (metal) rhythm sounds and adding sustain & colour for leads. I use ch4 modern for rhythm and ch3 modern for lead.
I always have gain at 0 and level maxed - although I am willing to experiment.... I usually switch to a single coil position on guitar for cleans - not ideal but i get by as i don't do much clean parts.....
Anyway my main question is regarding the tone dial on the OD - where do you set it?
At the moment i am finding that at around 10.30 it appears to be optimum for rhythm sounds and at 12.00 i get some really nice leads. Problem for me is that neither works great the other way round.... When set at 12 i find my rhythm tone is going somewhere kinda nasty - and it's not that i'm a fan of a lot of bass cause i'm not - just very harsh sounding
Any views?
