So I've got a Maverick 4x10 and and Fender HRDx. I'm having a hard time keeping the Mesa because I'm not a spectacular player and I know I can get a new speaker in the Fender with some mods by the amp guys here in Nashville and be totally happy and pocket some cash. I'm mostly a blues/rock guy so I'm playing clean into the slightly distorted territory.

Throw me some opinions.

Well, if you decide to sell your Maverick it will go for a decent price, and if you try to sell that Fender at a later date after the mods it won't have a very good resale value at all. Plus there's the risk of seller's remorse at a later time if you get rid of the Maverick. I'd keep the Maverick, it is made of better quality parts than the Fender. Best is to keep both if you have gigging in your future plans, one for backup in case of failure of the preferred amp.
