Maverick,gain question

I know these arent high gain animals like the recto,but what is the gain structure on these like,can they get really good saturation.I recently noticed andy timmons playing a head version and wanted one,recently I have thought about getting one seriously....I m trying to win one on fleebay at the moment.
any help much appreciated

I've never tried the real deal, but I built the Lead channel yesterday.

I have a 2x6V6 homebrew that I experiment with. I know that it doesn't have the same bite as the EL84's would have, but there is enough gain there to do some nice Blues and Classic Rock rythms and solos.

I actually really liked it, now I have to play the real thing. Although, the 5:25 might be more of what I am looking for.
