Master Volume Question

Hello. Long time Boogie lover here (MKI and Subway Blues) and I just got a Maverick that looks like it is going to be number 1 for a while. I am getting great cleans (where i spend most of my time) and so-so OD tones but I want to get the most I can out of the amp.

My question: What is the interaction with the "master volume" and the "output level" controls? For example, when I want a good clean tone for a typical MV amp, i dime the MV and turn up the gain as needed. How does this translate to the Mav's TWO master volume controls?

How do others set these controls? FWIW, i play mostly clean jazzier stuff and occasionally use pedals for lo-gain.

Thanks! I am doing the noon and noon thing too - sounds good to me.

BTW, I am not aware of a output level defeat switch on the Mav (on mine anyways).
