MarkIII (No Stripe) circuit board burnout!! what is this?

Head seems to be working just fine, but I noticed this burn mark on it. First of all, what does this section control and should I take it in?

It looks like the EQ and LDR Voltage supply. The original bias supply diodes, caps and resistors are still their. It also looks like Mike B. repaired it.

Call Mesa with the serial number and check if the amp has ever had a return authorization. This will prove 100% that Mesa did the repair.

Good thing I'll never get to have Mesa repair my amp.
