Mark VII going back to Mesa - sad

Yeah when I tested the Mark VII Mark IV mode it had a higher noise floor also, but it does get lower as the volume goes down, unlike in the video where changing the volume had no effect on the hum on channel 1 and channel 2.

yea went over it again today and its just on channels 1 and 2 - the other noise on MKIV mode is Normal. I was playing my IIB+ today and loving it - what Mike B did Makes everything sound better, all the pull pot options are useful now - I still have my MKIV coming back (seems to be lost in UPS ? ) once I get that back, I don't think I need the VII - do love the VII Though - Feel better sending it back - it would take months to get it back

Sounded like a grounding issue maybe. But yeah, refund and buy again is a good option. The VII should be dead quiet

while I had it apart and messing with the power tubes - I measured the stk Yellow mesa 445 tubes at 25-31-27-26MA each - didn't bother checking plate voltage.
