non-shared EQ b/n 4 channels is too much (user interface real estate issues unless they get REALLY creative and make the amp memorize EQ settings for you and then use footswitch, etc.)

I'm not sure why you say it'd be too much - the RK has this setup and works alright...

MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE CONFIRMED THAT RANDALL SMITH IS PURSUING A MARK V PROJECT CURRENTLY THAT WILL NOT BE IN PRODUCTION FOR AT LEAST A YEAR

He said he doesn't know what it will end up being, but it's in the works.
