Mark V headshell? how much???

Hey guys,

Being an exchange rate/greedy distributor victim in the UK I was wondering about the price of one of these over there? The price to get a proper Mesa one here is about 369 quid, so thats what? 566 dollars? I mean even with shipping tax etc its... :shock:
So how much is one to buy over there? just want to see how much we do get fleeced for over here! :lol:

Around 300$ for shell + 60$ for reverb tank. It looks that the tank may have different brackets or formfactor to fit.

i think they were talking about if you got another tank in case you wanted to go back and forth w/ the combo shell.

the reverb tank in the v is the same as the iv. you can buy those on ebay probably. the part number is an accutronics...i forget. it says on the tank itself. don't pay more than like $30 for that.

you could also get someone like gts to just build you one from scratch, though the v is a little bit different than previous mark's cause they've got the weird bent front panel.

Wow, I don't think £369 is actually that bad

You could always sell the combo and buy a head, but either way you're short of a speaker cab. How about selling the combo shell on ebay? You could get £369 for it....
