Hey you guys!

I can't believe it. Got a new Mark V today and it didn't work properly!

In Channel One there was almost no guitar signal goin' through but a lot of irregular strange crackling! What the...?

Is this a problem concerning tubes or the amp itself?

Best regards,
Chris

Hi and thanks!

I've already done this (getting a new one), but i won't tolerate a breakdown of the amp itself after getting it only an hour ago. Tube failure is an exeption. But if it's in the amp, i'd definitely won't get another Mark V, because they cost a goddamn amount of money here in EU.

Best regards,
Christoph

I doubt it's the amp, 99% of the problems with Mesa amps that you read about are faulty tubes. I've had mine since November with not a lick of trouble.

Relax man. There are literally thousands of Mark V's out there already and their lemon ratio is lower than any other new amp I can think of. (Maybe not Splawn) Read my sig.

In general, any time any tube amp stops working, presume that the problem is caused by a dead or dying tube.
