hello my mark v combo volume is cutting out to barely audible levels. It is doing it on all channels after a few minutes.
It will do it ,despite me only playing at bedroom levels.

power tubes or pre amp tubes?
any help would be appreciated.

Might try the foot switch cable. Sometimes my foot switch cable looks fine but is off by just a bit. I go to Standby and move the plug until it seems solid again. Might not be your problem but an easy check.

hello,Thank you for your reply.
unfortuantely it does with the foot switch unplugged from the amp.

i have norrowed it down to 10 watt setting only.
it plays fine in 45 watt and 90 watt, but cuts out in 10 watt in every channel.
any suggestions?
i already changed out the v1 v7 and the v3

My first thought was V1, but I guess you already tried that. If it only happens in 10W, then it could possibly be the rectifier tube. Does it cut out in channels 1 and 2 in 45W with the tube rectifier selected?
