Mark V 110v to 220v

I own a Mark V bought 2nd hand from US which uses 110v to operate.
Which is the best way to use it with 220v?

Hi ,

The best way to run 110 v Mark V in europe is to use step down transformer .

You need 110 x 4 amp = 440 Watts.

I'm using 500 Watts transformer like this one

No ,

it does not shortens life of the tubes , and when you use right power ( in this case 500 Watt)

it does not change sound at all .
