All righty then, for all you just slightly opinionated guys and gals out here in BoogieLand, here's your chance to weigh in.

USPS has a 70 lb limit to Spain so you'll be very close to exceeding that limit, if not well beyond with packing and box weight, etc. If you ship Fedex or UPS it will be closer to 350 or 400 to ship. No brainer. Send it to Florida.

If the guy in Spain is willing to pay the extra for shipping then I'd say he won it fair and square.

The Main problem you have is that it appears that you changed your listing about the free shipping AFTER the guy from Spain placed his bid, which to me is very uncool, and unfair.

I think to save face, you need to cancel the auction asap, due to error in the listing, then relist it, and start over from the beginning. You could end up being reported to ebay, for the edit.

I knew I should have stayed out of this. I meant no disregard for the guy in Spain with my post. I've sold several hi-dollar guitars to folks in Spain and those transactions went real smooth and one was to a player with a (1) next to his name. If the Spain bid holds and he wants to spend the money on shipping then that is the fair and right sale. As for your revision, I think most buyers in foreign countries realize their shipping is expensive and rarely included, but 'grindliner' makes a good point and is probably the right way to deal with the problem. For foreign shipping, you will have to ship it in two containers. Very expensive and problematic.

This is untrue. The shipping calculator always showed international shipping to be $200. I would not have been able to change this after a bid had been placed, as per eBay rules.
After the auction had begun, and after the Spanish bid had been placed, eBay announced to all that a disclaimer was necessary to prevent sellers from receiving negative feedback due to Customs delays. I then added this edit at the bottom of the auction, with my own reminder about shipping costs. The reason it is in such a large and cursive font is that the last letter in the regular text was so ("THANKS!"), and I could not even change the font, much less any other part of the original text, including shipping charges.
However, I should have stated more clearly in the original description, "Shipping is free to the ConUS only. $200 internationally".
FWIW, I still have not heard back from Spain nor Miami, so it's starting to get interesting with just six hours to go.
There are 26 folks "watching" this auction in eBay, with 534 visitors, as of 2:00 PM Pacific.
Hey, any and all comments are welcome, no harm, no foul.
Thanks, guys!

So who "broke" the amp?
No, you must have misunderestimated me. I didn't say the amp was "broken", I said the amp was "smokin'".

Still haven't consummated the deal yet...
The game is still afoot!

Dude, it sounds to me like you're fooling around with people. Yes, you publicly answered a question replying that the amp was not for sale anymore as it was "broken". You gotta make up your mind and stop fooling around.

I would hope that neither of the "buyers" found this link, I would be pissed if this was an item i was trying to buy and found this poll. If it was reported I would think ebay may ban your account. Might be worth deleting it and handling what you decide privately.

Here come the fun police.
Sorry, ladies, didn't mean to affect anyone's delicate sensibilities.
