Mark IVA, when turning reverb knob, volume and gain increase

I am hoping this is a simple tube issue. When I turn the reverb knob, not only is there no reverb, but the volume increases and the gain increases also. Just thought I'd check with you guys before spending the money on a new set up preamp tubes. It has been a while since I have changed them.

Check the connections and/or cables from the reverb tank to the chassis.
Unplug, re-insert, wiggle them around.

MrMarkIII - thanks for your suggestion. I had just taken the amp to a Boogie certified amp tech and he plugged the reverb wires in backwards. I reversed them it's it sounds awesome again. Thanks for your help.
