Mark IV Slave Out

Ok guys... I figured someone has done this before...

I'm wanting to experiement a little.. But before I screw anything up, I figured I'd ask first...

I've been a/b a Mesa Mark Iv and a 72 Fender Twin... The Mark IV is running 2 - 4x12 cabinets.. I normally use the Mark for my dirty and Fender for my clean... But I thought it would be interesting to use the slave out to feed the Fender..

Can I use the slave out into the input of the Fender Twin? I would think it would be an interesting combo of sound....

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

The slave out is a line level signal which will most likely be too hot for the guitar input of the Fender.

Try it into the fx return of the Fender if it has one.

But, in a nutshell, domct203 is exactly right. FX return is the way to go.
