I have a problem with the fx loop of my mark IV..when engaged there is a volume drop,like the signal sent in the loop was weak,very weak...what can this be?

Are you running the input to the right(mono) return or the left(stereo) return? If the latter, that's your problem. Switch it to the right(mono) return. If the former, then I'm not sure what the issue is.
