mark IV poweramp tube question

Hey guys,

Ive come across some poweramp tubes

Groovetubes
-6L6C
-6L6A
and
-E34Ls
-EL34C

will these guys be ok in my mark IV?

The folks at Mesa have told me that Groove Tubes rating numbers 4, 5 or 6 match their specs for tubes.
So if yours are in that range, you should be OK.

Nice to know that. I'll have to check that out

Some years ago when I used some Groove Tubes in my MK III they sounded like total crap!! I think I still have the tubes some where. I will look at the rating numbers and see what they are.

the sticker on the tubes says
on the left: H3
on the right: EBF

im guessing the three is the rating number
i have a few sets and also have some 4's and 5's

Ive also got some E34Ls, which state they draw 10-20% more current and recommend they be biased 1-1.5 volts higher than a regular EL-34
will these be ok?
