Mark IV Lead Channel no sound

Folks, My MkIV lead channel lost its sound. You can barely hear the guitar but very faint and clean, not distorted. I replaced v2-v5 one by one to no avail. What can it be?

I am still thinking it is a tube issue. Did you check the tube you were replacing? are the other channels fine? How about the tube sockets, are the pins making good contact. I had a problem with the tube socket in my formula pre. Same symptoms.

How about the effects loop, is that set to switch with the lead channel? Might want to try it off completely and go from there.

Sorry if you have done all this and I am no help at all, but I would like to help, nothing worse than and amp down.

Rhy1 & Rhy2 sound fine. I checked the EQ and loop settings for lead, but it doesn't make any change. The only thing I'd like to re-check is to make sure the new tube I was using as a replacement is good. I'll try it in V1.

Make sure the tube sockets look good.
I would think the problem would be v2 or v3, but I am no expert and do not have the manual here.
