Mark IV FX Loop and Master Volume question...

Hi, I just purchased a used Mark IV short combo. Here's my problem:

The master volume on both of the Rhythm 1 and 2 does not seem to be 'effective'. The Lead Master is working fine though.

I just re-tubed the head and I believe it was working before. I was curious if it had something to do with the effects loop options. Please help me out. Thanks.

Doesn't sound right. Is the presence pulled out on channel 2 and pushed in on the lead channel? I've found the volume is considerably lower with the pres. pulled. It sounds like you have more going on though,
