Mark iv fan

Just bought a Mark IVb from a forum member here. Just wondering when I power up, should the fan make a bit of noise. I can't hear it through the cabinet, but I've never had an amp with a fan so I didn't know if it was supposed to be silent or not.

A quiet fan is a good thing!! Just check and make sure it's spinning/ on.

Ok, I think I made it sound like I can't hear the fan. When I power up, I hear the fan clearly start up and it makes a constant "fan" noise. Not super loud but definitely noticeable. I just wanted to make sure that the fan was supposed to be that loud or supposed to be silent. Sorry for the confusion
