Subject says it all ... I like the sound of the two combined, but wonder whether it would sound even better if I put the C90 (or something else) in my combo and put the EV12 into the Thiele... anyone have any useful comments?

Thanks in advance from New Zealand!

Its going to be a while before I do ... between work, wife and kids I'm lucky if I'll find the time in the next month to do the open-heart I mean cabinet surgery.

But will report back when I do

Thanks for all the help

I'll be the one to go against the grain and say I prefer the EV in the combo

I have cabs with an EV enclosed bottom and C-90 open in the top.....................Swap Em'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taking an EVM-12L out of ANYTHING is a big mistake. Don't do it.
He's questioning whether to run a 12L in the combo or in a Thiele cab, not whether or not to run one. Or were you referring to something else?

No, you are right, I was jumping to conclusions. Now to answer the original question, At least put the EV in the Thiele. Agree with all the "swap 'em" posts.

Hi Ian, I'm in Auckland but haven't been getting much gig time since I have two young (3&4) children :/

I too have been surprised at the lack of Boogies seen on stage here, other than dual rectifiers (which I do not like!)
