Mark IV b stock Mesa power tube color - Mesa Insight?

Mine came with Green, and I'm curious if this has any significants. I wonder if mesa tests all of the amps to the point that they choose the optimal color tube in their opinion before they leave the plant. :?:

If you have comments or insight on this, please chime in. Otherwise, list your stock color no matter what model. I'm sure every amp in the same family doesn't get the same color, so this has to have some meaning behind mesa's method. :idea:

I was doing some surfing on the Grove Tubes site, when i came upon this link. http://www.guitaramplifierblueprinting.com/Rating.html According to whats on that page, Green on mesa tubes means the tubes have a rating of 5 on the groove tubes scale.


Mesa scale / Groove Tubes scale
Red / 4
Yellow / 4
Green / 5
Gray / 5
Blue / 6
White / 6
