Yes.

I have JAN-GE 5751's. They are great sounding tubes, VERY quiet...I did prefer a Telefunken ECC83 in V1. Much clarity and seemed to squelch some of the woofy bass

cool, thanks. Got an auction going, and thought the somewhat lower gain and clarity to be desireable... I'll post should I get the tube...

Item won... 1950's GE 5751 triple mica, D getter, blackplate tube.
This is slotted for V1 on my mark III to clarify gain settings....I used a 5751 in my princeton reverb years ago, and loved the results, but it will be interesting to see the results in a high gain application... I may try it in my old Gibson 1-10 amp as well as my son's TSL100...
I'll post results when it gets here...

Got tube in mail today... Gotta say that the construction is amazing. Copper support rods, super clean plates, triple mica. Really built well.... I stuck it in V1, and moved the 1963 RCA's 12ax7a's down one, and left the mesa SPAX& in the reverb slot...
The cleans are fantastic. Not sterile clean, but a very rich clean, well balanced.. R2 has a tad less gain, but the harmonics are absolutely incredible, and controllable... Lead channel is again, slightly less gain, but less buzzy, and certainly more alive. Also, the harmonics in the lead channel at any gain setting, are excellent. Low gain settings of the lead channel through my strat are very Jimi-ish!
LOVE this tube. Best one I've had yet...EVER!
