Mark III Tube Recommendations

I just bought a Mark III Blue Stripe combo form a forum member, an I am just what wondering what tubes you guys would recommend for this amp. I am going to talk to the original owner to see how old the tubes are, but I'd just like to know what to get when I need them. I know the Mark I was built around the Sylvania 6L6GC power tubes, would those be recommended? Thanks for any help.

Yes, many of the later Marks (including the Mark III) as shipped with those tubes. I´ve never played with them, but I hear that they are great.

They actually go for a fairly decent price ebay, so I may pick some up.

Be very careful, the Ebay tubes may not be correct for your Boogie. About a year ago when I sent my MkII in for service, Mike B. said that there were still some of the matched Boogie/Sylvannia 6L6's available. I would try these first.
