Mark III help

I just recently got a mark III as a gift and I have a question. At the bottom of the amp there's a copper looking case with an input and output jack. The wires are plugged into the input and output, but where do the other ends go? I have a feeling this is for reverb.


I hope someone understands what I'm talking about.


Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

yup, reverb tank. the leads connect to the bottom of your amp chassis.

Thanks for the help. I have another question. How do I know which one plugs into what? The jacks are not labeled.

Assuming yours is stock. Looking at the back of the amp, the gray shielded cable goes into the jack on the right. The white unshielded cable goes into the jack on the left of the reverb tank. On the bottom of the amp the gray cable goes into the jack toward the front of the amp. The white cable goes into the jack that's closet to you. Again this is looking at the amp from the rear.
