I am currently using a single button footswitch to change from rhythm to lead on the Mark III and I have it plugged into the "foot switch" jack on the front of the amp. I know there are jacks on the back for EQ and reverb and also for R2 as well. Is it possible to buy a footswitch that would control more than one function ONLY from the "footswitch" jack? I know that might sound confusing, so allow me to give an example of what I mean:

Say, for example, you want to change from lead to rhythm, but ALSO wanted to turn off the graphic EQ. Could you do that with one footswitch going into one of the jacks? Or, would you NEED something like the Voodooman switches that HAVE to be plugged into the corresponding jacks for whatever function you're trying to control?

The reason I'm asking is because I already have cords going everywhere. I have some pedals going through the loop, some going into the front of the amp, etc. It'd just be really convenient to avoid having another cord and, if possible, another separate footswitch for another function.

Each of the dedicated MkIII foot switch jacks are dedicated to their own function. Using the front panel EQ switch in the Auto setting will turn it on and off simultaniously with the lead channel.

Prepare to open your wallet. The way to do this is with a programmable MIDI switcher, but you still have three cables coming out of the foot switch jacks. No getting around that. They need not be 15 feet long, they just need to reach the MIDI unit. :D
