Mark III-Clash of the stripes

Out of pure curiosity, I would like to ask a few questions regarding the sound of red & blue stripe amp types - here it goes:

1. How the differences in sound between these 2 models can be described?

2. Are there any recorded samples of those amps "speaking" available to hear?

3. What kind of mk III speakers would be most appropriate to use with them?

1) Negligible at best.

2) Um. Dunno. Probably.

3) Depends entirely on what you want. Some prefer V30s. Some dig the EVM-12Ls. I absolutely adore my Mk. III with my EarCandy 212.

Red and blue are apparently the closest ones, not much difference. As for speakers-- really depends on cab size, volume you are playing at, and the sound you're going for.
