Mark IIC+ weeks of production/serial#

Hey,

Is it possible to have a Mk IIC+ with a serial # of 13998 that was produced in week 4? That doesn't seem likely, unless they reset the week of production at some point. The seller also states it's not simul-class but the sign-off card with all initials from boogie says "DRG". Maybe he has the wrong card with the amp... pulling the chassis will tell. That sn should have a 105 tranny as well right?

any thoughts?

The serial #'s were stamped as the amp was mated to its cabinet. Anything is possible. FWIW, my 1354x has a date of 10/84 and my 1403x has a date of 2/85 with DRG 52 on the chassis. An order that was delayed or cancelled could greatly influence the serial# to final tech date.
