Yeah but... since I'm getting a EBMM JP-6... :p

Just a quick question. Is that you in your avatar?

If it is, you can cut back on the cosmetics and hair styling and have your money in no time. :D

This whole thing reminds me of when I could of bought a 1959 Les Paul Flame Top for $ 2200.00, but my dad thought it was too much money back in 1980.

Don't obsess. When it comes, it comes. Give it time. I was 23 by the time I was earning 65K. Be patient because the moral is that time and money do not always intersect at the right time. At 23 I could not find a C+ to save my ***. The moral here is that money is useless if the opportunity is not there. Now at 35 I live in a van down by the river.

BB funny question..What is your Job?

I'm a used car salesman from Newark.

Here is a picture of me posted for the first time.

Haha, yeah it is, but like 3+ years ago. Let's just call it a phase :p

I dumped 2K in 20 minutes and my 8 month pregnant wife carried the JP for me. :D[/quote]

Does she have any sisters by the way? The only thing mine will carry is her perse full of makeup!

+1 for the chis farley reference above!

....living off a steady diet of government cheese

I have heard that most people cant tell the difference between a IIC+ and a MK IV unless you A-B them side by side. I want a IIC+ as well but most people are now asking over 3K for them. Can they ever posibly be worth more than that....the answer is probably YES. Those amps are now beginning to show their longevity and stature as tone makers. Just my .02

You're kidding, right ?

That's tough because everyone had walls of Marshall's with a Boogie hidden behind them. Clips are a real misnomer because you can never tell. I can use Amplitube and process the crap out of a clip and tell you it's a IIC+. The problem is, it's like the Sumatran Rhino. A rare species that you need to see and hear to believe. As far as I am concerned, I am the wrong person to ask. Instead of moaning about the IIC+, III and MK IV I enjoy each of them as individuals and appreciate what each offers. For those who wish to dwell on short comings, I see individual potential. To truly compare them you need to own each. So I use them as potential positives if I am looking for a specific tone that one of the amps can give me.

it's like porn....you know it when you hear it, or in the case of Clarence Thomas, when you see it. the dynamic response is what sets this amp apart i feel.

Or Bill Clinton when you inhale and smoke it. Especially the pre moistened cigars he had.
