Mark IIC - $650

Hi Guys -

Posted my Mark IIC a couple weeks ago, ended up not selling because I discovered a hum. I really don't have the time or money to deal with it. There is a hum with no signal plugged in when the amp is running. I changed some preamp tubes, didn't know if the ones I used were all good or not, but the hum didn't go away. It got better in some cases, but it's there.

Gotta be a simple fix. Don't wanna deal with it though - $650.

It's a 1x12 in black with a wicker from, EV, reverb, no EQ.

Just an update, I've gotten lots of PM's so I'll just give a global response.

The guy who sold me the amp decided to file a UPS claim, and stupidly I agreed (there's no structural damage, why would they honor a claim!).

Anyway, I dunno where my head was at. They picked up the amp, inspected it, and shipped it back to him. I spoke to the seller on the phone today and told him to expect it. He is a tech at a university and is going to see if he can tell what's wrong with it.

That's it for now. I'll still honor the 650 deal regardless of whether he fixes or not. Just won't have it for a little bit. I've kept tabs on the order of those who contacted me wanting to buy, I will be in touch.
