Simul-class is not just about EL-34's. The Class-A is SOOOOO sweet sounding. If it would cost no more than this, I would be all over it . The amp will already be in the hands of the master, and he is the only one that I would want to do that upgrade.

Does the simul-class really make that much of a tonal difference when running all 6L6s?

So I sent the head to get the C+ mod by Mike B. Didn't bother with the simul-class mod, so hopefully the amp will be all end all!

I believe my max was $2100 or maybe $2200...

Mike said he could upgrade this amp to a Simul , but I didn't get a price to do that.

Does upgrading to Simulclass involve replacing any of the transformers? I'd be very wary if it did.

Hrm, I didn't ask about that. Since I never use EL34s the simul mod wasn't really on the top of my list.
