I was reading the Mark I user manual for the Reissue Mark I.
I have a late 70's Mark I.
In the section describing the effects loop and it's uses there was a little tidbit that you could use it as an additional gain stage by jumpering the effects and send and return jacks and varying the amount of drive(?) using the Slave level pot.
Can you do this with an original Mark I?
Has anyone with an original and or a reissue used this or tried this and what is your evaluation of jumpering the send and return inputs?
I have a copy of the original Mark I manual, but, I have misplaced it along with my schematic.
