Mark 4 footswitch issue

i have a mark 4 version a.when i step on the loop switch,it is real spotty if the loop will come on or not.i tried pressing in on the led light,but that does not seem to be the prob.the loop just comes on sometimes and sometimes doesnt.it seems like the issue is just with that footswitch button.all the other switches work fine.anybody have any ideas?

It might be a bad solder on the footswitch, but it's definitely NOT the loop led.
Does it work fine when the footswith is disengaged?

yeah.i guess it is the switch.when i assign the footswitch to a certain channel,it always comes on properly.i will check the footswitch.thanks.
