Hi everyone !

A few months ago I bought a second-hand Mark IV widecombo. But Lately I've been playing with the idea of converting it into a head-version.

I think I'm going to ask someone to make a custom one for me.

Few questions I have:

- What kind of wood is used for this headshell ?

- could someone post a few pictures of the back of the Mark IV medium head ? I'd like to know where the Spring-reverb and the Fan are located in the head.

Thanks in advance !

I think they are made of Baltic Birch . Any multiple ply void free plywood will work . I use Appleply .
Check out Gts 's thread . http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?t=19562

Any info on the location of the Fan and Reverb in the Head-version ? (pics ?)

In Gts' first photo of the upside-down head shell you can see the cutout 's for the reverb tank on the bottom , and the fan on the front panel . :D
