Well, I traded off my Maverick 4x10 and am already looking for a replacement el84 rig, so I'm wondering if I can get the same smooth, creamy drive from the LSS at reasonable volumes that I miss in the Mav? I have a MKIII that sounds good for live use since it cuts through the band in a way the Maverick never did, but just sounds "harder" or "tighter" than the Mav (not as warm and fuzzy but more of an aggressive tone) and is not practical for use around the house due to the need to open it up in order to get it sounding right. What do you LSS owners think of the lower volume 'Warmth" of the amp? Are they basically the same power sections with the addition of switchable output on the JSS? Thanks for your insight on this. Z
