LSS vs. F-30

Is the LSS an upgraded version of the F-30? How does the overdrive in the second channel of the lss compare with the F-30 contour? I'm thinking of getting a LSS but concered it might lack the higher gains I like for soloing. I don't want to use an OD pedal. Any, insights on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Completely different amp.....The F-30 is more of a ripper in terms of lead tone. How much gain do you need? If it's metal or hair band level and you don't want to use a pedal.....look elseware. The LSS is a beefed up blues amp....thus the clever "LONESTAR" name.
