Quick question about my LSS. (Love the amp by the way!)

In between the first and second power tube, about an inch towards the front of the amp there's a black screw. On mine, I've noticed it's not screwed in all the way, it's about 2/3's of the way screwed in.

The amp's working just fine, but I was wondering if the screw is supposed to be all the way in. (Doesn't look quite right to me)

I was wondering if one of you with a LSS could take a quick look and let me know if it's screwed in all the way on yours.

Thanks! (Just called mesa/boogie tech support, they're closed for the holidays, figured someone here would have an answer)

MY F-50 is similar. I believe that it's a screw that keeps the chassic from vibrating during shipping. It's not a bug, it's a feature! :)

I noticed the same thing on mine and I ended up calling Mesa about it. They told me that it is a chassis tension screw.
