LSC Loop IN setup question

I run My LSC with the Loop IN so I can use the OUTPUT and SOLO features... but I run nothing in the loop itself. Any suggestions as to what levels I should turn the SEND LEVEL of the Loop and OUTPUT knobs up to?

Every time I've tried that, it has fried my V3 tube....

A lot of the people on this board put the send on about the 1 or 2 o'clock position to get some extra gain.

interesting...how long did you use your amp like this before it fried the V3?

i've been using mine since december with the send cranked, and i haven't had any issues. i don't want to damage anything though...anyone else have an issue?

I don't do it myself since I use my effects loop. I have it set around 11:30 to feed my delay.

I've been setting mine up at 12:00...just seemed logical...
