LSC and speaker rating

I see that the LSC is 100 watts, yet the stock C90 speaker is only rated for 90 watts???? The only reason I question this is because I have a LSC head and would like to get a Mesa cab. My current 2x12 cabs are 200+ watts. I'm assuming a C90 speaker, on it's own, can handle the LSC head?

Yes it's fine. Don't forget, Mesa do a Classic combo with just one C90 in it, so there's your proof. I use my head with a 1x12 Lonestar cab, nice and light.
