Lowering the brightness of the ‘Power’ blue LED on the Mark V:35?

Would you recommend lowering the limiting resistor or simply swapping the LED for a lower brightness one.

You can add a resistor in series with the LED if it is possible. If there is room for a trim pot you can use that as an adjustable brightness control.

maybe you could get a different light cover somewhere online that's darker/thicker glass... or take the light cover off and and spray a bit of paint inside the glass. same color as the bulb. or buy another one online and try it with that one if you want to keep the original one intact lol 🤷‍♂️ ....or maybe try finding a lower power led light 🤷‍♂️
