hi

i played a lonestar classic head yesterday, it had the blue and steel front.
im sure it only had 100w-50w. is the scaling 10w feature only a new thing or did i miss it.

id also like to hear some thoughts on it, ive got a stilleto ace aswell but the lonestars clean and breakup tones blew me away.

The 10 watt feature is not on the blue ones . The Lone Star is an amazing amp .

The 10watt feature is on the 2007 -> amps. I agree, the Lonestar IS an amazing amp. The most expressive clean/breakup I've ever played and thick, rich distortion - suits you sir :D

you only heard 1 version. Then theres the ability to use EL34, and 6V6 AND you can use all 3 in tweed mode (brownout). Then theres the openback vs. closedback versions to the tone. Theres got to be something you like on that list. After 2 months of ownership. VERY happy and....
