I'm new to this forum. Have been playing for many years. In my search for an amp that weighs less than my Electra Dyne, I've ordered a Fillmore 50. I don't know if there is still interest about this amp, but I will post up my experiences. I have not had the opportunity to play through a Fillmore, so this will be my first. Thanks.

I got home after work, unpacked and plugged in. I played for two hours straight. That’s a good sign. What a great sounding amp. It’s tricky dialing in drive tones. The tone controls interact with one another more than I’m used to. It’s going to take some exploring for sure. So far everything sounds really good to my ears in the clean and drive modes. All my pedals sound better in this amp, which is nice. More to come.

I've also been wanting a lighter version of the Electra Dyne.
I'd like maybe a 50/25 watt version with 2 or 3 channels set up similarly to the RA-100. Clean channel has it's own eq and gain/volume controls. Lo and Hi could be separate or combined.
The Fillmore might be the one! There's also the Triple Crown. I like the way the TC is set up, but Idk if it's much lighter than the Electra Dyne?
So, what do you think about the Fillmore 50? I know you've just had it a couple of days now, but how's it compare to the mighty Electra Dyne? Does it have tone? The Electra Dyne just has that organic, purity, ultimate touch sensitivity, etc that you normally only find in very simple, vintage amps. Although it looks very simple, if you peek inside the Electra Dyne it is not simple. It is very far from a simple vintage amp.
