Dang I been playing my new Lonestar so much latley I darn near forgot about my Nomad 55.

Put some of these new Tung Sol Preamp tubes in it today and let her rip. The lead channel is much more Clasic Boogie Tonewise than the Clasic (Lonestar that is).

Thoguh the Lonestar has an openess to it that the Nomad dosent have. The Nomad will do the Clasic sustain for days Boogie solo stuff maybe better than the Lonstar.

Both are keepers just havent played the Nomad much recently but man was I impressed when I plugged in today.

Should I brag a little?

gah..your post made me miss my nomad. it does have that liquid smooth thing going on... BUT, my angel's cleans are in another dimension, and its wayy more veristile, and i mean actually verisitle..not just variatioins on the nomad sound...i'd love to have both...

i guess you have the best of both worlds! plus your bluesbreaker...*******. :x
