I got a Lonestar 2x12, previous amp was aLSS.. The Lonestar has alot more punch, bottom, headroom and versatility than my LSS ever did. It is not a EL84 sound. The lonestar is a TRRI and a DRRI in one cab. The LSS would be more suited for smaller venues or studio use. The tones from the LSS have a wide range, but I was unhappy with the way it broke too soon on the clean channel. My first one died after less than two weeks. GC gave me a new one in a box and I used it for about a month. I don't have it now and the Lonestar has become my main amp. Don't need anything more.
