I think a lot of people dial in Rectifiers with their eyes instead of their ears. What works EQ-wise on a Marshall rarely works on a Boogie. Most of my setting look fairly unconventional. They also don't really hide anything. When I'm having an off day or haven't been practicing enough....through the Rectifier it definitely shows.
