came up on an alesis micron. its so cool, havent really touched my guitars in a week but its got me thinking about phrasing and note selection in a whole new way.

I had a 49-key midi controller for a while and it certainly makes you appreciate the guitar neck and how the notes are laid out! I wouldn't mind to get another controller one day. It was cool to play around with. I took piano lessons almost 20 years ago, but never really got past the beginner's book... Wish I would have kept it up a little longer now!

The Alesis Micron & Korg MicroXL are at the top of my list to go with my Moog Little Phatty.

Congrats on the Micron! Tell us all about it.

its pretty cool. has loads of features but the lack of hardware makes getting the sound you want tough. im glad i went with this over the korg

thats crazy...i just wish i could play. im not too satisfied with the tone i get but its me not the synth. i cant play keys and its running through the mark iv. i just got a hamer t-51 that i love so its not seeing too much play time. ill come around, besides its nice just to have

the drummer in one of the groups i play with just bought a Roland SH-201 to play around with and to maybe add a little colour on a few of our tunes and holy hell is it ever a ton of fun. I have no clue what i'm doing 95% of the time but it is such a blast to play with. Every break we took during practice last week i played with it
