Selling my Mark V 90W head. In excellent condition but missing the power tube cage. Newer all-black footswitch and long cable included. Power cable. All new preamp tubes. Mesa 6L6GC STR440 power tubes that came with it (I bought it in April 2024). A new NOS JAN Phillips 5U4GB rectifier tube. I have an assortment of various preamp tubes, if interested I can give you a list and let you pick the 7 you want in it.
No scratchy/noisy pots or jacks. Every switch, every knob, and every jack works perfectly.
Amp has worked perfectly since I've had it. I got a Badlander 50W recently and am favoring it now. I just need one solid clean and one solid high gain sound. The Mark V is great, but has a lot of low-medium gain options that I just never use.
I run a stereo rig, but a Mark V is a bit too much amp to keep around to use as just a second power amp. So I'm trying to sell the Mark V and buy a less-expensive amp like a Satellite 60 or Nomad 55, preferably head format. So I'm open to trade + $ for some other 2x6L6 head/power amp.
I'm in Beaverton/Portland, OR if you'd like to come check it out. I'm also willing to drive it to your place so you can really try it out in your space with your cab and guitar. It's a big investment that could likely be the last amp you'll ever have to buy, so I want you to be able to make an informed decision about purchasing.

I paid $1840 for it in April from Guitar Center. It had some bunk preamp tubes in it which were all replaced immediately (~$200 of tubes). So I'd like to get $1800 for it, but am willing to consider reasonable offers.
Let me know if you want to see more detailed pictures. The carry-handle is off right now so the Badlander could sit on top of it, but I have it and will put it back on when sold.
