I love Jackson Guitars. I have a Custom Shop Spalt/flame maple, Bird's Eye Maple Neck..Mahogany Body SL2H.. A Custom Shop Red Quilt, Bird's Eye Maple Neck, Mahogany Body SL2H.. and a Randy Rhodes V.. Handmade Serial # RR0017. They are Sugary Sweet.

Hail metalheads

I agree with you, Jackson is a wicked guitar. But......... for me no, I used to have a Jackson soloist with a wicked flame top and a couple of emg's 81/85 with the push pull knob for semi coil splitting.

Da thang is that the position of the volume knob is in the way of my fingers. I like to rest my pinky and the other two on the body while playing and especially when soloing and that darn knob gets in my way.

So if I get another one it'll have to be custom made replica of my two ESP Horizon's NT II.

Stay heavy and btw jacksons have the coolest pointy headstock on the market.

Peace

Nice guitars, but what is some of that art hiding back there?

I love that artist! The Pastel Drawing is by Chris mars, former drummer of the replacements. He's just incredible.

I will be getting my Custom KV soon. And I also got a SL2H a few months ago. Nothing plays like a USA Jackson.

How is the DKMGT Dinky? I found a guy selling one that's a few months old for $475 CAN but i may be able to talk him down a bit. I see that musiciansfriend.com sells them for 675.00 US. Seems like a decent deal but i'd like to know more about the guitar before i make him an offer.

I have 2 DKMG's that I absolutely LOVE. I ordered a trans black one for $800, a week after playing my buddies. Six months later there was a trans red one in Guitar center for only $350 brand new. I IMMEDIATELY bought it. Nothing wrong at all with it. I just got a wicked deal.

I have G.A.S. too much to save for a custom shop one right now. Too many other things I have my eyes on.

Wow, I have one of the limited DK2's with the lacewood body they did for GC too. I think they only made a couple hundred total. Great guitar for the $$$ if you ask me!

I have a total of 4 Jacksons: two USA and two imports.

I have a Jackson Stealth EX in the "stone" finish, the limited DK2 in a natural finish, USA Jackson SL-1 Soloist in trans red, and a Jackson custom shop run they did for Drum City Guitarland, which is a Dinky arch top with a bolt-on birds eye maple neck, mahogany body, with a curly maple carved top. I love 'em all!

Hey guys, can someone with a Jackson KV take some measurements for me? I need the total length of just the body, from the tips of the horns to the end of the neck pocket (I will buy a neck to fit onto this); the distance between the points of the two horns; the width of the body at the end of the neck pocket; and the distance from the bottom of the two horns to where they meet. I also marked off what I need in red in this picture.

I want to make a V body, and the KV is the perfect starting point.

I also posted this on UG, but I have personal prejudice to that place. I trust people on here to actually care more than the people over there.

Cheers.
