should I put my decimator at the end of my loop or what?

WHAT?! You mean after all the other FX in your FX loop? Or on your pedal board? Do you have the Decimator Pedal, ProRackG, or G String?

I was thinking of getting the ISP pedal(the best noisegate pedal out there). But the roadster is such an quiet amp..there was no need for me.

i agree.... i actually picked up one but as long as i'm not right up against the amp its dead quite (except when i get this **** mexican radio station coming through the amp)..... i might hold onto it and see if i need once i pick up an OCD but yeah man roadster is quiet

the roadster is quiet even in ch 4. modern with the gain up? btw I got the pedal and yes im putting it in my effects loop after other pedals. Im actually getting the roadster tommorrow but my rov was loud as hell at those settings!

My RK is really quiet even with insane settings. You want to put it after the problem noise, but the loop is a good place.

whattt? no in my loop except eq and delay at the moment

So what if u are running delay in the loop and use the fx loop option to cut it off for stops and transitions?

that would then turn the noise gate off also wouldn't it?

what would u suggest doing then? run it in front or still run it in the loop?

thanks

Depends where you're getting the noise from.
I run a lot of pedals out front so I use the ISP at the end of the chain out front. If there is any noise from the amp it will be increased by the pedals, and some pedals create noise themselved so putting it at the end of that chain makes sense.
If you have no pedals out front but are running some in the loop then it would make sense to put it there....I think....

ok well right now i have it the last pedal in front. i run my pedals through my skb ps-45.

tuner - ns-2 - (maxon od808 in loop of ns-2) - amp

then

i have my dd-20 in the loop

the noise i am getting is like a fly honestly. its not feedback, its like a fly and its a constant hum when i am not playing.

any ideas what it could be?

possibily cables?
