I have a TC Electronic hall of fame reverb pedal and on that pedal you can dial in whether you want the tone of the reverb to be low frequency tone or a high frequency tone. You do this with the Tone knob of that pedal.
On my Single rectifier Rectoverb 50 the tone of the reverb is high. Are all of them like this? Is there a way to change the tone of the reverb to a more middle tone? Can a person change the reverb tank to a different tank and would that get rid of the high tone reverb? Can a fender deluxe reverb tank be put into a Rectoverb 50?
