is MF/GC going to sell boogie amps online?

Very interesting. Looked at Mesa's site and they don't even mention it. Looks like Matt's Music has a better selection. No Mark V on either though.

This is not good...not good at all. It's too easy. Before, I had to drive all the way to the dealer, and they're all far away, and there's traffic, and a ferry ride, which is fun, but expensive. Now, I can buy a shiny new Boogie from the comfort of my music room. I don't even have to be wearing pants.

My wallet is never going to be the same.

MF doesn't have Mesa Boogie. We can, any "qualified" dealers can now. I'm not sure how it'll work with GC, I can't remember what my rep said when we were talking about all this.

looks like mesa has finally emerged from its pre-historic style of marketing products...

Having never signed a dealer contract, I don't think you really know what the **** you're talking about in regards to Mesa's marketing, rabies.

Times are tough right now. It may not be a bad move for them to expand the way they sell. If they start dealing with MF though...our local GC is bad enough at selling them.

I believe GCs in the Austin area are discontinuing selling mesa... although I did hear this from the other mesa dealer in town, FWIW.

While this is cool, I would hesitate to make a major purchase like an amp without hearing it in person first. Just like purchasing a guitar, I want to experience firsthand what the amp has to offer before I commit to buy. Otherwise I fear I'm setting myself up to potentially loose money on flipping something I ended up not liking after all.
